With the recent tragedy that struck Northern Mindanao, our SHS-AdC School Administration is currently collaborating with Xavier University in CDO to extend assistance to the thousands of victims of this tragic calamity. Our School President, Fr. Manny Uy, SJ, has been coordinating with Fr. Eric Velandria, SJ, who is in charge of the relief operations in Xavier University CDO, in order to accept and distribute donations and relief goods to our dear brothers and sisters who have lost so much in the past days. more..

Welcome to SHS-AAA

To  cultivate in our minds the belief that there should be reciprocity between any academic institution and its graduates is oftentimes a challenge, even if it is expected to be an understood and unquestionable fact. We, the alumni, are most often dominated by the conviction that we should endlessly remain in the “benefited” side of this mutual interchange. The whole picture certainly needs some readjustment and, undoubtedly, a reevaluation. We are to reaffirm our gratitude to her by re-uniting ourselves and consolidating our efforts in order to assist her when she needs our services and assistance.

   To materialize this ideal endeavor, the Sacred Heart Alumni Association (SHAA) was formed in 1961 through the combined efforts of Fr. Jesus Velasco SJ and our enthusiastic alumni. The association was approved by Fr. Michael X. Chu SJ, the then Rector of SHS. Men who have guided it through the first seven years are Santiago Tanchan, Jr., Nono Teves Yu, Victoriano S. Go, Winston Chiong, Jesus Go, Benjamin Bordalba, and Peter Paul Du. Moderators were Fr. George V. Donohoe SJ and Fr. Arsenio Nunez SJ.

   This Alumni Association offers a great help to many different sectors. We are glad that we have this association wherein we can interact with the different alumni of the school till date.
